Jorge began his accounting career in 2000 in different local accounting firms. His experience in public accounting includes working for both large and mid-sized firms where he specialized in corporate accounting, taxation, and compliance for a wide array of clients in various industries. In 2004, Jorge joined the accounting firm of Gidney & Company PA where he headed the International tax department and also giving frequently presentations on US income and taxation of foreign investors doing business in the US and on FIRPTA issues. Jorge graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and also earned the degree of Master of Science in Taxation from Florida International University.
