Jonathan Caron's construction career started shortly after he graduated with a civil engineering degree from Virginia Tech in 1997.  His first experience in homebuilding included a hammer and toolbelt near Blacksburg, VA.  20 years later, he has been blessed to have touched just about every aspect of the industry:         - Business management In spite of the variety of work, the common thread in all of these experiences has been collaboration.  He understands that collaboration encompasses the true experience of building a custom home and is a firm believer that no one party is wholly responsible for a successful completion.  Each member of the team - client, architect/designer and builder has a special role that needs to be embraced by all.  Josh Whipkey joined Jonathan Caron Construction in September of 2014 as the Construction Manager.  He brings with him a wide range of skills, interests, a tremendous passion for detail, and above all, superior customer service. Josh began his career in construction as a framing and finish carpenter after completing graduate school. Jonathan Caron Construction is pleased to offer custom treehouses.  Not only play structures for kids, but true houses built into trees.  We have teamed up with the leading expert in treehouse engineering, Charles Greenwood, in order to build beautiful, safe and long-lasting residences.   Jonathan Caron Construction completed a huge renovation in 2015 on my home. I had previously worked with another design/build firm, but their lack of follow through during the design phase lead me to interview other builders. When I met with Jonathan, he set very clear expectations about the timing and he delivered!! He worked within our budget and made sure that we were able to be a part of every decision. His employees and sub-contractors were always professional and kept our job site clean - something that was very important to us.
