I founded John Shaw Computers, Inc in January of 2008. A native of Tallahassee, Florida, I have been actively working with computers and computer technology for over 14 years. I fixed my first computer, a Commodore 64, at the age of 11, and by the age of 15, I was contracted as a web designer and web master. Over the next few years, I worked house-calls and small-time jobs on the side, eventually taking up a full-time position as web master for a local publishing company, Finally, in early 2008, I incorporated my business as John Shaw Computers. I am completely self-taught in my practice; while I never pursued college for a degree or computer certification, I firmly believe that hands-on experience is the best tool for solving technical issues. Inasmuch, I am proficient in many technology-related areas, including computer networking, film, audio/video editing, tv and home theater installation, car audio installation, and more. of residents in the Tallahassee area, including small businesses, without the use of major advertising. Most of my clients are referred by word of mouth, with returning to me for my services. My primary mission is to serve Tallahassee with the best technical services, at the most reasonable rate.
