JoeArchitect is a full service architecture and interior design firm located in Denver’s Lower Downtown (LoDo). We are the established leader in dental, orthodontic and dental specialty office design. At JoeArchitect JoeArchitect provides dental, dental specialty, and optometric office design across North America. We have been fortunate enough to work with doctors from coast to coast in the United States, Canada, and beyond. The three principal architects hold active licenses in the following states and provinces: Joe is a founding principal with JoeArchitect. After earning a Masters in Architecture at Tulane University, he moved to Colorado in 1988 to be a member of the Denver International Airport design team. Joe regularly speaks and writes about the process of designing and building dental facilities. In 2012 he was selected to co-author the current edition of The ADA Practical Guidelines to Dental Office Design. As Director of Business Development with JoeArchitect, Joe’s primary focus is to educate students and dental professionals so that they can make sound decisions when the opportunity to design and build their dental office presents itself. After graduating from University of Colorado’s School of Environmental Design, Kristi joined JoeArchitect as an intern in the spring of 2003. In 2004 she was accepted to the Illinois Institute of Technology Masters of Architecture program. After graduation in 2006 she spent the next four years working with Lucien Grange Architects in Chicago and Butler Armsden Architects in San Francisco. In 2009 Kristi returned to JoeArchitect and lead the design on a number of key projects. In the fall of 2012, she joined Miller and Church as a principal and owner. As Director of Design, Kristi oversees the design of all projects. Joe began working along Colorado’s Front Range in 1996 as part of his required internship at Ball State University where he earned a Bachelors of Architecture. Prior to becoming a principal with JoeArchitect in 2005, he spent several years working for small architectural studios where he learned the value of working collaboratively with the client, engineers, and the contractors to achieve extraordinary results. As Director of Operations, he manages the financial health of the company while also participating in the design of many key projects. His experience designing and managing projects ranges from small scale residential to large civic buildings. Eric has been a part of JoeArchitect since early 2011. Prior to joining the team, Eric lived in Tucson, AZ where he attended the University of Arizona, School of Architecture. While in school Eric gained experience in both construction and architecture, under the philosophy that the two are inseparable. With experience in both residential and commercial design and construction, Eric’s diversity has contributed to some of Joe Architect’s key projects. In 2013 Eric was made project manager, responsible for overseeing projects from commencement to completion. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Denver’s Masters of Architecture program in 2012, Felipe joined JoeArchitect as an architectural intern. It was his experience working on the design of a residential prototype for a single family dwelling in Burlington, Colorado in 2011 where he discovered his affinity for working hand-in-hand with clients. This experience eventually led Felipe to JoeArchitect where he has the unique opportunity to guide dental professionals through the process of designing and building their one-of-a-kind facilities. After earning her Interior Design degree from West Virginia University, Ashley made her way to Pittsburgh, PA where she gained experience working on a mix of residential and commercial projects. Her desire to create inviting spaces that can be enjoyed by many is what led her to focus in on commercial design. In the summer of 2015 Ashley’s love for the mountains brought her to Colorado where she found JoeArchitect and continues to pursue her passion of contemporary design. Caroline joined JoeArchitect as an architectural intern in 2006 after completing her Masters in Architecture at the University of Colorado. Caroline worked for JoeArchitect for seven years completing projects around the country. In 2012 Caroline left JoeArchitect to work for Semple Brown Design in Denver Colorado, and then Inform Design in Honolulu HI. Caroline returned to JoeArchitect in the fall of 2015 as Project Coordinator. Julia joined JoeArchitect as a Project Coordinator in the spring of 2015. Prior to joining the team, she spent most of her life in her home country, Ukraine, where she studied in the cultural capital city, Lviv. She acquired her degree in Architecture at Lviv Polytechnic University, where she gained immense experience. She spent six years in her studies and simultaneously assisting local firms. She moved to the United States in late 2014. In her search for a city with inspired peers and opportunities in her chosen field she discovered Denver. This led Julia to an opportunity to join the JoeArchitect team, where she collaborates with her talented co-workers, and has the opportunity to hone her craft.
