Corbett & Imogene Davis founded Jewelers Trade Shop. Jewelers Trade Shop’s third generation owner, Corbett Davis, III, certainly appreciates what an honor it is to be able to follow in his father and grandfather’s footsteps. Corbett prepared himself for a career in the family business with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from the University of Alabama in 1998 and a GIA Graduate Gemologist degree in 1999. Responsible for every operational job at Jewelers Trade Shop, the area that Corbett is most drawn to is the store’s custom designs. He thrives when given the task of redesigning customer’s jewelry into new pieces they’ll cherish for years to come. Second generation owner, Corbett Davis, Jr., began his career at Jewelers Trade Shop at the ripe age of 10. Enrolled at Florida State University, Junior originally intended to study Organic Chemistry and Embryology but eventually changed his mind, and major to Business Management in order to assist his father with their family business. Now, with his role reversed, Junior is most proud to work side-by-side with his son, Corbett III. The author of the store’s newsletter “Gems, Jewelry, Fun Times,” Junior has a knack for marketing the store in a fun and friendly way. Sarah Davis, has been with Jewelers Trade Shop since May 2007. After graduating with a degree in Business Management from the University of Florida, Sarah had a chance conversation with a jeweler at Jewelers Trade Shop which led her to a sales position with the company. Sarah is most passionate about the opportunity to be a part of some of the most significant moments in our customers lives. “Through jewelry, people allow us to be a part of engagements, wedding ceremonies, births, anniversaries, and holidays.” A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Connie Lancaster made the decision to relocate to Pensacola while vacationing at the beach in 2003. She began her career at Jewelers Trade Shop in 2004. Immersing herself in the role of bookkeeper at Jewelers trade Shop has given her a variety of job responsibilities. One of the more challenging jobs was learning to read Corbett Jr.’s handwriting in order to transcribe, among many things, the famed “Gems, Jewelry, Fun Times,” newsletter. But above all other responsibilities she finds helping customers most rewarding. Mary joined the JTS team in 2015. Growing up, she visited Jewelers Trade Shop often which sparked a passion for the world of jewelry. She graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and joined JTS where she paired her learned skills with her passion for helping others look and feel their best. When she’s not working, you’ll find her spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants and shopping at local boutiques. Though born and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Howard Davis learned the art of jewelry manufacturing at Bowman Technical School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. With 35 years under his belt at Jewelers Trade Shop, Howard has ingenuity for fabricating and repairing jewelry. Of all the designers offered at Jewelers Trade Shop he is most proud of the store’s own master craftsmen, referring to themselves as “original designers.” When Howard isn’t busy forging jewelry for customers he enjoys being outside, practicing in activities such as fishing, golfing or riding his bike and eating “really good food.” A watch repairman originally, Donald Tomerblin began his career in jewelry repair after the company he was working for closed. An extremely gifted craftsman Donald is known for his ability to sculpt amazingly detailed structures and figures out of the industry’s precious metals. A perfectionist, he has been known to spend hours, weeks, months, laboring over projects in order to get them done right on the first attempt. Donald’s artistic genius isn’t limited to the jewelry profession. When he’s not working he is usually playing music or singing. Christina grew up in Tucson, AZ and being from a military family she has been around the world. Their last stop was Florida and after being away from the industry for a bit, she decided it was time to get back to doing what she was really good at and began working at JTS. Christina enjoys making and repairing jewelry and torch repairs. After 15 years in this field, she gets most excited about the finished product of a beautiful piece. When she’s not at JTS, you can find her at home with her children or playing computer games with friends. Triana had been working in retail while attending college when she got an internship with the City of Pensacola. She fell in love with downtown and decided to become a part of Pensacola’s dynamic growth by working here. Triana is one of the reasons why downtown Pensacola is special. Passionate about people and community, she is an exceptional sales associate who has made it her mission to make every minute at JTS personal and special. Having always loved pearls, Triana is particularly fond of our Mikimoto line of jewelry, their elegance, and their fascinating history. In her off time, look for Triana in any number of our local downtown restaurants, or catch her cycling around town and on local trails. Paige joined the Jewelers Trade Shop family 9 years ago after a serendipitous visit to the shop. While waiting to have her jewelry cleaned, she asked if we were hiring. We were. And the rest, as they say, is history. She has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of West Florida and enjoys working with people and sharing their jewelry stories. A Pensacola native, Paige enjoys the beach, discovering new cuisines in Pensacola’s resurgent downtown, and spending time with her family and beautiful daughter. Brian, a recent addition the JTS family, comes to us with a great deal of experience. He began his career at the age of 16, working in his parents’ jewelry store in Indiana. His father taught him early the importance of ethics, knowledge, and service—lessons that have driven his lifelong passion for creating unique jewelry. Brian and his wife Karen enjoy dancing, walking their two Great Danes, and making memories with their children and grandchildren.
