Jefferson Healthcare was one of the first five hospitals in the Washington to be designated Baby Friendly by the World Health Organization. Jefferson Healthcare has a full service orthopedic clinic and an oncology clinic administering infusion services of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other treatments. The Medical Short Stay includes wound care, sleep medicine, Coumadin and anti-coagulation services. We provide Wellness programs, a broad range of support groups and community education programs. Jefferson Healthcare has nine clinics throughout the county and a nationally recognized award winning Home Health service provider and Hospice office. The primary care clinics are located near the hospital in Port Townsend and in Port Ludlow and Quilcene. The primary care clinics provide pediatrics, family medicine, obstetrics, women’s health, and urgent care. We also have a Specialty Clinic that provides pulmonary care, urological surgery and pelvic floor reconstruction and cardiology care services. Jefferson Healthcare is a public hospital district providing services to residents of east Jefferson County. It is operated as a municipal corporation with five elected commissioners who oversee the district’s operations.
