James McAdam’s interest for designing interiors began at a young age. Growing up on the coast of Long Island, he spent hours rearranging furniture and decorating his family’s homes. His design philosophy stems from the belief that if something is worth doing, it is worth doing well. With a passion for décor and an eye for seeing the potential of a space he began buying real estate and renovating properties for clients to enjoy. James McAdam Design was launched in 2006 and has completed multiple projects in the Hamptons, New York, Aspen, Palm Beach, and Los Angeles.. Growing quite a following with young Hollywood James spends a lot of time traveling between the east and west coast. “Nature provides the most incredible canvas and color palette”, says Mr. McAdam. He enjoys visually integrating the interior with the exterior principally reflecting the client’s needs, personality, individual style and existing architecture..
