He was a survivor of the Holocaust who came over after the war and started this business with the shirt off his back. He was 4 foot 11 and sold new and used furniture and appliances. In those days fridges weren’t as big as they are now, but the man could literally carry a refrigerator on his back. Mission: Family Owned and operated since 1946, Jacksonville Furniture Mart’s mission is to sell beautiful, high quality furniture which will satisfy our customers for generations to come and to conduct our business with the highest level of integrity and respect for our customers, associates, and vendors.
