Jack Miller Jack Miller passed away peacefully at his home in Houston, Texas, on January 13, 2016, following a brief illness. He was 84 years old. Jack was a successful businessman, property owner, consultant, and well-known authority on construction marketing and sales. His company, Group Communications, Inc., focused on educating construction industry professionals about how to increase their profits through improved marketing and operational processes. Knowledge was his passion, and Jack shared that knowledge through his network meetings, seminars, books and training programs. More than 54,000 construction industry executives attended Jack’s seminars across the United States. In 1987, he founded the Jack Miller Network to facilitate win/win sharing of best practices within the construction industry. More than 700 companies participated in the Network. Jack received many awards, including the prestigious Silver Hard Hat award from the Construction Writers Association for his lifetime achievements. Contractors across the country gratefully credit Jack’s teachings and his Network with changing their lives and helping their businesses grow.
