These results measure the impact that Rock House Center’s unique Biblically based counseling had on specific emotional, behavioral and spiritual conditions of our clients. Symptoms that clients scored in the mild range on their pre-test assessments were not included in the data. Not all clients assessed themselves as experiencing moderate to severe symptoms in their pre assessment. The rating for each category is determined by our clients on a 1 to10 scale through their completion of a self-assessment instrument. The self-assessments are completed before counseling (pre-test) and after counseling (post-test). Results scores are a running average compilation of client data that includes clients who either completed the counseling program at Rock House Center or felt significant enough relief before completion of the full program to provide a post-counseling assessment of their progress. I’m nearing the end of a 6 month journey through Christian counseling and it has literally changed my life. I was on medication before and it only helped with the symptoms, not the source of my issues. I can truly say I am now completely anxiety free. You hold yourself to such a high standard which is to be admired but I hope you know that it’s okay to make mistakes or not be 100% to everyone at every time because that’s what makes us human. Anxiety is the worst. And for so long I felt like medication was the only thing that could help but this counseling has helped more than any med ever did. I would say to someone who is looking for help, find help, and the only place I know where I’ve gotten help is Rock House Center. I would say come to counseling. Rock House is biblically based counseling. They don’t push you, they don’t make you do things you don’t want to do, and he even explains that God doesn’t make you do anything. Come here, give it a try, come one time like I did, and I decided to come back one more time, still skeptical but then I started realizing “I’m liking this,” because even though it wasn’t exactly what I thought I was looking for, it was absolutely what I needed. There was a desire that I could not quench, that I couldn’t deny, so I came back and then after that second session, I knew that I’m going to do this for the duration, and I felt good about it."
