Instructional Technology and Performance Improvement is an eclectic consulting and design company that facilitates learning and training outcomes, according to the respective subject matter. We are here to infuse ID/UX research and design for our clients to experience fun-Learning, confidence-building, and intrinsic motivation with instructional technologies. Mission – Lester pioneered the pirate-themed, literacy based, educational video game called Plunder, which was a Serious Games Challenge Finalist at the I/ITSEC Conference. He has presented on topics such as using educational video games to reinforce learning outcomes at conferences like: FETC, USDLA, APSCU, Serious Play, and Pearson Cite. The key project that he initiated and is currently working on is a dynamic Leadership Game-Sim (2016). His philosophy is: if it isn’t broken-don’t fix it; if it can be improved-modify it; and if it doesn’t exist-build it.
