CJ is a seasoned insurance professional with over 25 years of experience, most of those years focused on marine insurance. He is active in sales, production, and the underwriting of both recreational & commercial marine accounts. He is also a member of the Florida and New York Bar / Bar Associations, the American Bar Association, and the Florida PIA. Originally from Long Island, New York, he has been a resident of Florida for over 20 years. CJ currently resides in Ormond Beach Florida with his wife Carol and 3 sons. An avid baseball fan and community minded leader, he has been active in the Ormond Beach Youth Baseball/Softball Association for the last 10 years. Not only volunteering as a Coach but he also serves as the Executive Director of Baseball and is the former President of the Ormond Beach Golden Spikes Competitive Baseball Organization. Upon graduation from the State University of New York (BA Business) he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant. Chris was awarded an ocean operator’s license in 1964. A licensed captain for almost 50 years, he operated numerous passenger and commercial vessels on the East Coast of the United States. Chris has been a licensed insurance broker since 1974. As the founder of Island Wide Marine Agency, he has been underwriting and placing marine insurance since 1977. He resides in Ormond Beach, Florida with Mary his wife of more than 50 years.
