- ISLAND GIRL HOME DECOR - In the beginning... the story of Island Girl Home begins with a little girl and her fishing pole.  Armed with her tackle box, a bucket full of bait and enough determination to supply a fish fry, this little pirate was ready to conquer the world around her… starting with the waters.  Fast forward to today and you’ll find that same passion for fishing, island hopping and all things aquatic in (the now grown-up) Deanna.  Her love of island life and steady determination has brought Island Girl Home to life! Neither a nautical novice nor an eCommerce newbie, Deanna enjoyed seven years of success with other design websites before she was finally able to turn her attention to creating her own line of island and coastal home decor.  She has always been an island girl at heart and loves everything about home decor, from the pillows to the pottery.  Her friends claim she was born with an eye for versatile, timeless styles and now she has finally pulled her favorite pieces together for us.  As a native Floridian who adores traveling and part-time living in the Caribbean, creating Island Girl Home was a natural next step for Deanna.
