Practicing as an CPA and business advisor in New York for over thirty years, he understands the financial aspects of growing a successful business. Ike is co-founder and CEO of ISL Financial Advisors. Sue Lichtenstein joined Ike in founding ISL Financial after their relocation to the Florida Gulf. Sue along with Ike began making preparation for their new business venture while still residing in New York. There they both immersed themselves in a unique and intense training that would allow them to meet the ever changing needs of their clients. From that and subsequent training, Ike and Sue developed their 4eAdvantage to use as a key component of their business consulting services. “It is truly gratifying to see my client become excited about their business again” ... Sue helps each client develop a clear picture of where they are and where they want to be. Together they create a roadmap of how they will reach the destination. Sue is an expert in keeping her clients on track and accountable. Her experience working with a variety of small businesses uncovered a common thread. Business owners are often stuck in the “doing – knowing gap”… the inability to move from idea to action. Clients stay focused on structuring their businesses as a vehicle to reaching their personal goals. “When a client is passionate about their personal goals, then their passion for running their business is renewed.” Sue’s experience as a small business consultant, teacher and artist, brings a unique set of skills to help clients change, transform, and restructure their business. “Creating art is about problem solving.” These skills help clients to see all possibilities. She relates to her clients because she appreciates their life journey and all their unique skills and talents. Sue has BA degree from the State University of NY at New Paltz. Her graduate studies continued at Lehman College CCNY and New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. She was a principal with the CPA firm, Lichtenstein Advisory Group, in Tarrytown and Southampton NY. Sue was instrumental in transforming the accounting practice into a profitability and business development consulting firm. Applying the same approach she uses with her clients, Sue restructured her consulting business as the vehicle to reaching her personal goals. She attained her goal of living and working in a warm climate, in a small town, close to beautiful beaches. Now residing in Bonita Springs, Fl. Sue is a member of Art Quilters Unlimited, Studio Art Quilters Assoc. and the Naples Quilt Guild. She has exhibited at the American Orchid Society annual quilt show and has volunteered for the Literacy Council. Sue was awarded New Member of the Year by the Westchester Association of Women Business Owners.  . Ike went on to receive a BBS degree in Finance from American University in Washington, DC. Ike was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and lettered in varsity baseball. Studying Finance in our nation’s capital provided Ike with a unique opportunity to work with professors who held key positions in the Federal Reserve Bank and the Department of Treasury. This experience of mentoring with teachers and professors who were examples of integrity and displayed a work ethic of commitment to excellence helped to mold Ike's continuing standard of professionalism and excellence.  That experience was where Ike was first inspired to become an accountant. He pursued an accounting career by attending CUNY- Bernard Baruch College – Graduate Division.  Ike has 30 years experience as a business consultant working with small to medium sized businesses. He was a partner in a regional accounting firm with offices in New York, Chicago and West Palm Beach where he served as a small business consulting specialist, manager of internal operations, and accounting staff trainer. Ike became  inspired by his client’s entrepreneurial spirit. With their encouragement and support he  followed his dream and established his own accounting firm. After receiving over 150 hours of for CPA's in discovery techniques, Ike transformed his then traditional CPA practice into a management consulting firm, helping his clients structure their businesses as the vehicle to accomplishing their personal goals and dreams. Believing in the importance of community involvement, Ike has contributed and given back through volunteer work which has included the Literacy Council and Hope Hospice. Ike's interest have included The Civil War Roundtable, studies in Eastern philosophy, tennis, hiking and most recently his pursuit to become a scratch golfer. Ike credits his wife Sue, who is business partner and co-founder of ISL Financial as his greatest source of love, support and and eCommerce solutions for our clients.
