David King is the founder and chief executive officer of IPS Group, Inc. A leader in telecommunications for over twenty years and the senior brainchild behind the solar powered single-space parking meter, King’s responsibilities include leadership and oversight of all the Company’s initiatives and operations. As a business leader, King has had a far reach across the globe. In South Africa, King was an executive for Barlow Rand Limited, the largest industrial company in the country. King also served as President of Telkor Pty, a large high-tech telecommunications and military electronics company employing over 1000 employees, of which half were highly skilled engineers. In 1994, King started IPS Group Pty —and in 2001 DeLoitte and Touche named IPS as the fastest growing technology company in South Africa. At that point IPS had an annual revenue of R200 million ($40 million). In 2002, King relocated to the US to oversee the creation and commercial success of IPS Group, Inc., USA. Chad Randall serves as Chief Operational Officer of IPS Group, Inc. As COO, Randall is responsible for the broad oversight of IPS Group’s ongoing operations and maintains direct supervision of the Company’s business development unit. Randall joined the Company in 2008 at his current position, bringing many years of Fortune 500 corporate experience in both the automotive and instrumentation industries. In addition to business management, Randall has functional experience in engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and product line management. Prior to taking on the role of COO at IPS Group, Randall was responsible for a global product line of $100M+ for a Fortune 250 Corporation. Randall holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Alex Schwarz serves as the Chief Technical Officer of IPS Group, Inc. As CTO, Schwarz has played a major role in the development of IPS’s flagship product, the solar powered single-space parking meter, and is responsible for the oversight of IPS Group’s research and development efforts. Schwarz joined IPS Group in 1998 as a specialist in information technology and cellular telecommunications. Schwarz has comprehensive knowledge of the design and manufacturing of electronic peripherals, electronic parking meters, and cellular interface technology (CDMA and GSM). As a telecommunications developer, he has worked extensively with all of the major cellular network providers, including Verizon and Cingular. In 2002, Schwarz relocated to the US with David King to establish the technology platform for future IPS product development activities. Schwarz was awarded a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. Amir Sedadi serves as Chief Innovation Officer for IPS Group. As CIO, Amir is tasked with driving, developing and managing innovative and intelligent parking solutions with a strategic focus on Smart Cities both in the US and internationally. After retiring from the City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) in 2012, Amir joined IPS Group, bringing over 25 years of transportation management, engineering, policy and legislative experience with expertise in the areas of intelligent parking management operations & policies, transportation planning, budget, and administration. As the LADOT Assistant General Manager, Amir provided comprehensive oversight of LADOT’s parking operations (to include on- and off-street parking and permit parking) enforcement, taxi operations, car sharing program and planning and development. At the request of Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa, Amir also served as the Department of Transportation Interim General Manager, managing over 1,800 employees and a total budget of approximately $500 million. BA in business administration from William Paterson University, Mike has built a career as a successful systems sales engineering and sales team manager. This includes over 10 years selling Communications Technology into Fortune 500 companies, as well as over 20 years providing sales management and marketing services to startup technology companies all over the USA.
