Adam Ghetti, technologist and entrepreneur, founded Ionic Security in 2011 to address the problem of trust in our machine scale world. He has over 15 years of experience building large-scale systems in multiple Internet-related markets. He is an expert in complex systems and task automation along with an applied knowledge of application security, network security, data security, and artificial neural networks. He was recognized by Forbes as a 30 under 30-thought leader in technology and by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer. Additionally, Mr. Ghetti serves on the Global Future Council on Cybersecurity on behalf of the World Economic Forum, as an elected member of the Council on Foreign Relations, as a member of both the advisory board for the College of Computing and the Insititue for Information Securirty and Privacy at Georgia Tech, a charter member of TiE, a Distinguished Lecturer for the Robson Program at Emory University, and as a board member for Savvy Cyber Kids a 501(C)(3) providing educational materials for families to better enable them in navigating the digital world safely.
Kevin Mandia is the CEO of FireEye, a global cyber security company that protects organizations from cyber attacks. Prior to FireEye, Kevin founded Mandiant Corporation and as CEO, grew it to a profitable, self-funded organization with approximately 500 employees and over $100M in revenue.In the private sector, Kevin served as a director in the security consulting divisions of Sytex (Lockheed Martin) and Foundstone (McAfee).Kevin co-authored two books on responding to security breaches, taught advanced graduate classes on cyber security at George Washington University and Carnegie Mellon University, and provides regular cyber security commentary and analysis for national print and broadcast media.
Ted Schlein focuses on early-stage technology companies in the enterprise software and infrastructure markets. Since 1996, he has led KPCB's investments in a number of security companies, including ArcSight (IPO, then sold to HP) and Internet Security Systems (IPO, then sold to IBM). Ted was the founding CEO of Fortify Software, a pioneer in the software security market and now an HP company. He serves on the board of directors of 3VR, Area 1 Security, IronNet Cybersecurity, Shape Security, Synack and Trusona. Additionally, Ted oversees KPCB's investments in Bit9 and Endgame Systems.
Tom Noonan is a General Partner at TechOperators. Tom is the former chairman, president and chief executive officer of Internet Security Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISSX), which was acquired in 2007 by IBM for $1.3B. Tom Noonan and Chris Klaus launched ISS in 1994 to commercialize and develop a premier network security management company. Under Tom’s leadership, ISS revenue soared from startup in 1995 to nearly $400 million dollars in its first decade. The company grew to more than 2,000 employees, with operations in more than 36 countries.
Tom Mawhinney joined Icon Ventures in 2003 as a General Partner, bringing a 15-year background in the technology industry as both a venture capitalist and an entrepreneur. Tom has a wide range of technology investing experience and brings a passion for helping to scale young, rapidly growing companies. His venture investing capabilities were acknowledged when he was named to the AlwaysOn Venture Capital 100 Power Players in the Cloud and Entrepreneurial Power Player - West lists.

His distinguished, 28-year career at Goldman Sachs includes having served as global head of the firm’s 8,000-person Technology Division and as Chief Information Officer, where he played a key role in the development of the firm’s global funding platform and early expansion into electronic trading. Steven currently serves on the boards of Akamai Technologies (AKAM), and Soltage, a leading renewable energy provider. He is the chair of the Riverview Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees and serves as an advisor and consultant to the CIO Strategy Exchange (CIOSE). His work has earned him recognition on Institutional Investor’s recent Tech 50 list.

Eric has over 30 years of experience, most recently as Operating Executive with Marlin Equity Partners, where he conducted operational due diligence and served as Chairman for multiple companies including Asentinel, CompassLearning, Logi Analytics, LogicBlox/Predictix, Longview/Tidemark, Mapp, Serenova, Verisae, and Vivonet. Previously, he served as CEO of Servigistics, an exited Marlin portfolio company and global provider of Service Lifecycle Management software; CEO of MediaOcean, a provider of web-enabled sales and order management, invoicing, and e-business solutions; and President and COO of Radiant Systems, a global provider of point-of-sale, store management, and headquarters management solutions. Additional experience includes key roles at AlliedSignal Aerospace, McKinsey & Company, and IBM Research. Eric earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Brown, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
