Qian (Ch’ien) – commonly known as travel and benefactors, helpful people As a professional non-profit organization, the International Feng Shui Guild mission is to: Meet our passionately dedicated International Feng Shui Guild Board of Directors. Laura has been a member of the IFSG since 2012 and served on the Marketing Committee. Laura has a background in marketing and strategic planning, honed from her years as a Marketing Director at a multi-national publishing company. While serving on the IFSG Marketing Committee, Laura led the development of the IFSG’s strategic plan outlining the organization’s visions and goals. Deb is a graduate of the Western School of Feng Shui holds degrees from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Nebraska in accounting and engineering respectively. She began her work with the IFSG in 2004 at the local level in chapter leadership and joined the Board of Directors in 2006 in the dual roles of IFSG Board Treasurer and IFSG Membership Director. In 2007, she added the role of IFSG office management to her resume working in the areas of office administration, finance, business, website maintenance, communications, newsletters, publications, and social media management. These dual roles of board and office allowed Deb to balance her administrative and organizational skills with her passion for and training in Feng. She resigned from the board in late 2010 to focus her efforts on running the IFSG office and expanding roles. In October 2017, Deb returned to the Board of Directors as Interim CEO. Her leadership, dedication, and passion for the IFSG and its members, her experience with the overall organization, its policies and procedures, its strategies, and long term focus make her an ideal candidate for this role. Continuing her work in the office will simplify communication lines and provide stronger focus for members, benefits, and strategic planning. Kristi informally studied Feng Shui for several years and began formal Feng Shui training with the BTB Feng Shui TM Masters Training Program in 2011 She started FSC in 2011, a company dedicated to helping corporate and private clients realize their goals using Feng Shui practices. Prior to establishing FSC, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, practiced as a CPA with PricewaterhouseCoopers and J.P. Morgan Chase, and built a web site design firm. She has served on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations. Charmaine is a board member for the IFSG. She previously worked in the financial industry as an economist and published research on global economies. She is currently developing her feng shui business. Kim is a Red Ribbon Professional and has been an IFSG member since February 2015. She founded Finding Your Fiji, her Feng Shui Intuitive Coaching business in 2013. She is a graduate of the Wind & Water School of Feng Shui and the University of St. Thomas (Business – Operations Management). She is also a certified Angel Card Reader, graduate of Tony Robbins Mastery University and Brendon Burchard’s High Performance Academy and World’s Greatest Speaker Training. Kim previously served as membership director on the board of the Feng Shui Institute of the Midwest (FSIM) and was named by Women in Networking as the 2016 Destined to WIN Award Winner. Kim has been self-employed since 2005 and is excited as a new IFSG board member to share her knowledge and skills in a variety of areas including communication, technology, social media, content creation, education and group facilitation. Carmel is a NYS Registered Nurse, though doesn’t practice anymore, she is more interested in helping people preventing disease now. She has always loved spaces, and studied interior design in the Fashion Institute of Technology in the late nineties. It was here she first learned of Feng Shui, and began studying in 2011, at the Metropolitan Institute of Design in Syosset, NY, and later Denise Linn’s Interior Alignment. She is also a certified Law of Attraction coach. Carmel loves helping people create their visions and bringing their dreams of a phenomenal life to fruition. She is especially interested in children, and helping her clients create a healthy, non toxic, nurturing, environment for them to grow in. She volunteers with her local PTA and has served in lead positions such as VP for Juvenile Protection and Co-President. She hopes Feng Shui will become more mainstream as she believes our spaces are one of the most important aspects of how our lives unfold. Donna is a Feng Shui expert and Astrologer with more than 25 years’ experience. She’s a former chapter manager of the IFSG Boston Chapter and has been a member of the IFSG for more than 10 years. She’s the author of 10 books including Feng Shui Form and her best-selling series, Chinese Astrology 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep. She’s spoken at the Build Boston Architectural Conference, the Women of Wisdom Conference in Seattle and been on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. Donna owned a company for 15 years that wholesaled and retailed Feng Shui cures to companies like Whole Foods, Henry’s Markets and Harrahs Casinos. She sold the company in 2009. Donna writes, teaches and consults on Feng Shui and Astrology full time. She talks with 8-20 clients per week in person, by phone and by Skype. She is currently a board member of the National Counsel for Geo-Cosmic Research: San Diego Chapter. Marina is a Red Ribbon Professional member of the IFSG. She has been a member since 2012 and this is her second term on the board. She is a certified Interior Designer and a Feng Shui Practitioner in the NY/NJ area. She cares deeply about helping people create lasting improvements in their lives and she does that by creating lasting improvements in their environments. She loves to combine her experience and expertise in design and architecture with her innate desire to promote health and well-being. Marina is eager to continue to serve on the board to bring awareness to ways Feng Shui can make a difference in people’s lives.
