Thank you for visiting this website. My name is Scott Portugal, founder of Interior Design Consults. I have been working with Scott for the past year and a half redoing my condominium in South Florida. The project has kept growing with my growing pleasure in our work together. I have found Scott to have wonderful taste, while also respecting my taste and my sense of what I would feel comfortable living with. I find that he is very accommodating about working at whatever pace I set and also within a budget that I feel comfortable with. I really believe that working with Scott is a collaborative effort and it has been a great pleasure. I am delighted with the result and would wholeheartedly recommend him. We have purchased a home which completely needed to be remodeled. We hired Scott Portugal to help us design our home. Scott has worked with us at every phase of construction including full design of our kitchen and bathrooms. He has helped us pick out paint colors, tile, crown molding, cabinet design, faucets, lighting, sinks and now he has overseen all work done by the contractor and has been available to meet with us without any delays. We are totally satisfied with our beautiful remodeled home. Scott’s expertise in decorating and design was above our expectations. My wife and I recently purchased a condominium in Bal Harbour, Florida and retained Scott Portugal to help us with the interior design of the unit. Scott proved to be an excellent resource and we are very pleased with the design work and advice he provided. He designed a beautiful bookcase, pieces of furniture and he assisted us to purchase most of the furniture for the apartment. He accompanied us to stores and patiently guided us to excellent furniture choices. Scott was also pleasant to work with. He was on time for appointments and always responsive to our questions and concerns. Overall Scott made the whole process of interior design a pleasant and smooth experience and we are very happy with the results of his design ideas. My husband and I were browsing one day in a beautiful upscale tile store in Fort Lauderdale looking at flooring samples. We were thinking about redoing our floors and maybe some home renovations. We asked the salesman at the store if he knew of a good designer who could help us do some space planning as well as home decorating. He recommended Scott Portugal. So we called Scott, and we booked a day for him to meet us at our home. The job included the kitchen, den, living room, dining room, foyer and powder room, pretty much the entire house except the bedrooms.
