INSTALLED BUILDING PRODUCTS Our business began in 1977 with one location, Edwards Insulation in Columbus, Ohio. In the late 1990’s we embarked on an acquisition strategy with the goal of growing a national platform. To date, we have successfully acquired and integrated over 100 companies. IBP is an insulation installer. In fact, we are the second largest insulation installer serving the residential new construction market in the United States. We have 125+ locations servicing 48 states. And we are a leading installer of garage doors, rain gutters, closet shelving, shower doors, mirrors, fireplaces and bath and door hardware.
