The AS9100 Standard outlines business requirements for aviation, space and defense organizations. This standard provides guidance for managing variation of key features of material, processes or parts in which the variation has a significant influence on product fit, performance, service life or manufacturability. AS9100 requires organizations to document and implement processes that affect product quality and to flow these requirements to their supply chain. These business practices are essential for effective and efficient processes and ensure that the process output is consistent.
Insitu received its first AS9100 Standard Aerospace Certificate in September 2007. Our current AS9100 Aerospace Certificate of Conformance was issued from NQA USA on September 08, 2016. Our scope of registration covers product design, development, and production of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and software, field support, repairs and operator training. Our quality management system is compliant with AS9100 REV C and ISO 9001:2008 requirements. Our certificate is registered in the OASIS database, certificate number 16482.
