INSIGHT INSTITUTE, LLC., SATELLITE BEACH

It acknowledges that most people change behavior between environments. This helps users drop judgments of others (because they only see them in one setting) and learn more about their own reactions to stress. The INSIGHT Inventory comes in two forms: 1) self-scoring paper booklet and 2) online reports. There are two versions of the online report, a personalized narrative version that speaks directly to the user and a workbook version that is ideal for courses and training sessions. This work book version is very similar to the self-scoring paper booklet. Both online versions also provide access to the additional Team Map report and Observer Feedback reports. The INSIGHT Inventory is not a DiSC version, a MBTI derivative, StrenghtsFinder2.0 indicator or the Insights Discovery test. However, we believe all assessments have specific value and we provide resources to use the INSIGHT Inventory with other assessments in complementary ways (1+1>2). The INSIGHT Inventory is most closely related to factor-analytically derived assessments such as the 16 PF, Big 5, or Hogan Assessment. However, the INSIGHT Inventory it is uniquely different since it focuses on Kurt Lewin’s Field Theory, how people change from one setting to another rather than on only identifying traits. (Behavior is a function of the Personality within an Environment B=f[PxE]) People who have good “Insight” have knowledge of who they are and how others see them. When individuals develop an accurate perception of themselves and self-awareness of how they come across to others, they can communicate more effectively, reduce conflict, and strengthen their relationships. This increases individual productivity, improves team engagement, and creates a high-functioning organizational culture. The INSIGHT Inventory, a strengths-based personality assessment, provides a positive foundation for coaching and talent development. The INSIGHT Inventory provides two personality profiles; one for work behavior and one for personal style. This helps individuals explore what influences behavior in different settings. Instead of labeling people and trying to predict behavior, the INSIGHT Inventory emphasizes that behavior may change from one situation to another. Participants describe their behavior in two different environments, work and personal, and receive two profiles. This helps uncover the whole person by looking at peoples’ behavior in different settings and their range of flexibility. This serves as a spring board to discuss more specific environments such as team membership, dynamics with their leaders or subordinates, family patterns, etc. Dr. Handley’s goal is to help you conduct training sessions that impact your participants and develop their skills. About the Company Insight Institute, Inc. We strive to challenge and improve the personality assessment business. Our key product, the INSIGHT Inventory, is based on Kurt Lewin’s “field theory.” This sociological approach holds that most personality assessments don’t actually predict behavior very well and instead the force field of the environment has the most impact and should be emphasized more than traits. We view the purpose of assessments as opening conversations, helping users discover and share more about their strengths and see the best in themselves and others. Who we are. Insight Institute, Inc. is first, a research and publishing company that develops positive strengths-based personality assessment and team engagement activities. Secondarily, we are a talent development consulting firm that provides train-the-trainer resources to help talent development professionals and coaches create dynamic, results-driven programs that help users communicate and work more effectively together. We publish the INSIGHT Inventory strengths-based personality assessment and help others implement it in their organizations. We see ourselves as innovative specialists in the strengths assessment world. Launching our “no certification required” assessments and free online Facilitator Center we eliminate the need for traditional train-the-trainer certification. We provide online 24/7 resources, e-courses, an open access resource center and continually updated tools and activities. We are there just-in-time, just-when-needed. There is no middle zone. Talent is either growing or degrading. The INSIGHT Inventory personality assessment helps people identify and utilize their strengths and eliminate the triggers and stress reactions that derail success. Unleash the potential of individuals by helping them develop skill in communication, team leadership, and team membership. The INSIGHT Inventory will help team members learn how to maximize the use of their personality strengths and validate each other's strengths. This will directly improve employee engagement and increase productivity
