Innovation Contracting was incorporated in 2010, Michael J. Waldrop is the company qualifier under Florida State General Contractors License number CGC1511910. Michael first passed his Florida State Certified Residential Contractor in 2001 and decided to obtain a State Certified General Contractor in 2006 to broaden the scope of work that he could perform in the State of Florida. Michael has been in or around the construction industry nearly his whole life. As a child, his father Joseph "Mike" Waldrop was a plasterer and was well respected in his trade, Michael worked with his father on small jobs cleaning up and laboring. Michael enjoyed building and remodeling as a young man, in the 90's.Michael feels he has been blessed to work with many great people and companies which were inspiring role models to him in the construction industry, while learning and growing from each experience. Michael has held positions in other construction companies that included Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manger, Director of Construction , Business development and so on. is the Vice President of Innovation Contracting. Chris is a responsible young man that has been working hard and helping Innovation grow over the past 4 years, he plays an important role in the company and has gained hands on experience in Project Management, Supervision, Estimating and Permitting during this time.  Chris is involved either directly or behind the scenes in all aspects of the construction process. Even though Chris is busy with the day to day, he attends Indian River State College part time working towards a degree in Business/Construction Management and is looking forward to obtaining his State General Contractors license sometime in the near future.
