Scott’s passion for innovative thinking dates to age seven with a child’s innocent request for a new go-cart. Rather than buy him one, his father plopped down a box of jumbled go-kart parts and words of encouragement: “Here’s your go-cart; you build it.” Scott did, and has never lost his passion for building things and helping others develop their ability to be innovative.
Scott guided the development of over 600 new products across companies as diverse as Toro, P&G, Newell and Rubbermaid. His management span includes nearly every functional area— marketing, industrial design, sales, advertising, merchandising, graphic design, financial control, and engineering.
Scott is founder of InnoImprove and co-founder of The Axiom-Group, a highly successful marketing and research consulting firm focused on innovation that served leading Fortune 500 firms for 25 years.
