A young man (Sarkis Kazarian) arrives in America from Armenia with very little money. He works hard, raises a family and starts his own business with the help of his brothers and sisters. Kazarian Pharmacy was born. By offering great products at reasonable prices, the pharmacy is a great success for Mr. Kazarian and also for the patients who get their prescriptions filled there. These basic principles are what drive Infuserve America. My name is David Kazarian, and inspired by my father, I also became a pharmacist and took over Kazarian Pharmacy. Soon after, I became interested in infusion therapy. When I moved to Florida, Infuserve America was born. Interfacing with various infusion companies, nursing agencies and insurance companies, I became aware of practices others were using that did not promote quality care and even took advantage of patients. I was outraged when patients that no longer had insurance coverage had to pay inflated out of pocket prices they could not afford for services that were truly needed. I vowed that Infuserve America would not be caught up in an unethical system, and we have provided high quality and affordable services since inception. At times, we may recommend a product or method of delivery that might be a little more expensive. When we do this, we have good reason. In addition to being concerned about your pocketbook, we are also concerned about your safety. Infusion services are not without risk, and we want to take every precaution to guard against infections, and deliver medications in a way that would comply with manufacturer’s recommendations for safety. Infuserve America’s mission is to provide high quality, cost conscious, in-home infusion medications, equipment and supplies. These services provided directly to you, the patient, are designed to meet your needs in the comfort and safety of your own home. Infuserve America Inc. (Established 1991) Experience: David has been a licensed pharmacist since 1965, has owned several pharmacies and home IV infusion companies and has always been a visionary in his field. When in Hartford, he had the first pharmacy in the state of Connecticut with a computer that assisted in filling and tracking prescriptions. He founded Infuserve in 1992, with the mission of “providing quality, cost-conscience in-home IV therapy.” David is involved in numerous pharmacy associations, and is the past president of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. He is always seeking innovative solutions to common problems and settles for nothing short of excellence. Experience: Serving as the Director of Operations, Elena produced and maintains Infuserve America’s Manual for Policy and Procedures, and spearheads Quality Initiatives and Accreditation. She is in charge of coordinating clinical trials, and acts as a Project Manager and liaison as specified by the sponsor and/or Clinical Research Organizations, maintaining contact throughout the entire process. Additionally, as the company’s on-staff Registered Nurse, Elena offers patient consultations specific to nursing care, including initial and alternative dressing recommendations and infusion and/or injection assistance. Infuserve America’s Pharmacists’ and Pharmacy Technicians’ experience includes the following: IV Admixture, Total Parentral Nutrition Compounding, Low, Medium and High Risk Sterile Compounding, Non-Sterile Compounding, Clean-Room Complex Quality Assurance, and Laboratory Sterility Testing. Our pharmacists and technicians ensure all important documentation directly related to an individual patient’s prescriptions has been thoroughly checked for completeness, accuracy, and safety. Experience: Nancy has been a pharmacist since 1965 and has had experience in hospital, consulting and retail, at one time owning five pharmacies. Areas of expertise include psycho-pharmacology, TPN and pharmacokinetics. She is also an associate professor at various schools of pharmacy. At Infuserve Nancy coordinates the processes of preparing and filling prescriptions, and provides physician and patient consultation.
