History of Inform Diagnostics Headquartered in Irving, Texas, Inform Diagnostics was founded in 1996 as Pathology Partners. In 2005, Caris Ltd. became a major shareholder, and in 2006, Pathology Partners became known as Caris Diagnostics. In 2012, Miraca Holdings acquired Caris Diagnostics' anatomic pathology business and renamed it Miraca Life Sciences. In November 2017, Miraca Life Sciences was acquired by Avista Capital Partners, and renamed Inform Diagnostics in January 2018. The joint venture was initially launched as Baylor Miraca Genetics Laboratories (BMGL) and is now known as Baylor Genetics. Although Inform Diagnostics is no longer part of the Inform Diagnostics Holdings corporate organization, we continue to offer a wide variety of genetic testing to our clients through our close cooperation with Baylor Genetics. Dr. Lash joined Inform Diagnostics in August 2006, and has more than 25 years of experience in GI and surgical pathology. Prior to joining Inform Diagnostics, he served as co-director of the AmeriPath Institute of Gastrointestinal Pathology and Digestive Disease, as well as clinical associate professor of pathology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He is currently clinical associate professor of pathology at University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center. He earned his bachelor of science degree, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, at the University of Michigan, where he received his MD degree and membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in his third year. He was a resident and clinical associate at the Cleveland Clinic, where he received subspecialty training in Dr. Singhal joined Inform Diagnostics as a GI pathologist in 2005. She soon became the Irving Lab Medical Director, and then in 2013, also assumed oversight of Quality. In 2016, she was named Senior Vice President of Quality and Senior Medical Laboratory Director.
