Infant Massage of South Florida Infant Massage of South Florida is based out of Miami- Dade and Broward county. We have been working with infants and their caregivers since 2016. Katelyn has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Exercise Science, a minor in Psychology and is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. In 2016, she became a Certified Educator of Infant Massage. Katelyn fulfills her passion for helping children by educating their caregivers in infant massage. The benefits of infant massage can be classified into four categories: (1) Interaction (2) Stimulation (3) Relief and (4) Relaxation. Massaging the infant helps develop caregiver/infant bonding, attachment and interaction, improve sleep patterns, normalize muscle tone and develop early infant communication. Studies have shown that all infants, especially those born premature or with developmental delays or with reflux, colic or lip and tongue tie, benefit greatly from infant massage. Infant Massage of South Florida Infant Massage of South Florida has been such a great experience. I am so happy they came to our home. With Miami traffic it was nice not having to leave the house with an Infant. Katelyn was an excellent instructor. She was patient, precise, and very helpful throughout the four weeks. I would highly recommend! Infant massage has helped my son with his bed routine and the mother-infant relationship is enhanced. Katelyn is such a wonderful and caring instructor. She always has a smile on her face and is full of amazing tips for every situation. Infant massage has been one of the best things I’ve ever done for my daughter and I! We signed up to learn how to help her body relax from reflux. Massage became a routine before bed and is now our routine when she gets home after daycare. It helps her relax and get ready for bed. It’s also what we were doing when she did her first laugh!
