We have used Industrial Safety Institute instructor Scott Young at five of our power generation facilities to provide substation/switchyard switching and tagging safety, Arc Flash NFPA 70 E training, grounding and basic electric safety training. Scott’s level of experience, knowledge and professionalism was excellent and the information delivered in such a way that students want to engage, understand, and apply the knowledge. The training was specific to our needs and very well received by our staff. Scott has conducted several training classes for our company, including fall protection, aerial work platform qualification, forklift operation, and power system switching. All of his courses were well-planned, thorough, and included frequent written tests and hands-on experience to ensure students understand the material and are qualified to current industry standards.
