Started in 2000 by father, Ronnie and daughter Allison, Independent Brace has always been a family owned business. December, 2016, Allison assumed majority ownership and began the process of certifying Independent Brace as a Veteran and woman owned small business. We are proud to be one of the ONLY VOSB, WOSB manufacturers of orthopedic braces in the country. All of our product components are made in the USA - making our products truly "Made in America". We believe it is important to support other American companies and we strive to do just that. A lot of our components are manufactured in our own machine shop; all of our soft-goods are made in our own sewing room and all of the products are assembled in our assembly room. Additionally, this allows us to control the quality of our products and offer our unconditional guarantees - when our products are used in the manner prescribed. We know that "off-the-shelf" doesn't always work for every patient -- therefore, we will customize our products to meet any patient's individual needs at no additional cost to our regular customers. You need an extra strap added - it's done; you need a brace shortened or lengthened - it's done - you need wider straps, longer velcro closures, whatever - it's done. All custom orders are guaranteed to ship within 24-48 hours - if not the same day.
