In the months that followed in Bryson City, Pastor Rob felt an urging to begin Impact Youth Outreach. That ministry was birthed on April 1, 2013 with the goal of striving to be a beacon of God’s light and love to the teens, young people, and the whole community of Swain County, pointing them to the cross and to the knowledge that Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth, and the life; that no man comes unto the Father but by Him. (John 14:6). It was also the time in North Carolina that eventually opened the door for Pastor Rob’s son, Stephen, to meet his future wife, and in June 2014, Candyce and Stephen were married and currently reside in Charlotte. Most recently, Pastor Rob and his wife Melissa launched the Impact Community Worship Center in August 2015 in Bryson City. They also host Revelation Revolution conference every year encouraging and empowering youth and young adults and winning the lost to the Lord. Impact Mission Statement Impact Mission Statement God so loved the world He sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ, who was God made flesh, and while tempted like man never sinned, thus He became the perfect and final sacrifice needed for our sins.  Jesus willingly suffered and died a brutal death on the cross at Calvary and after three days in the tomb was resurrected from the dead, Spirit, soul, and body, conquering death and hell, and in doing so made a way for us to be restored and in direct communication with God our Heavenly Father.  Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life, no one can come unto the Father but by Him.  Salvation was accomplished by Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. We must realize we are a sinful being and in need of salvation to be restored to a right standing with God. For by grace we are saved through faith and that not of ourselves it is a gift of God, not of works lest anyone could boast. If we confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God raise Jesus from the dead, we will be saved. When we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Salvation occurs when true repentance, a turning away from sin, occurs and one starts to bear the fruit of that decision. It is not and cannot be fire insurance. We must become disciples, followers of Jesus both in our words and our deeds. Jesus ascended to the Father and now sits at His right hand making intercession for us. And upon His return to the Father sent the promise, the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to lead us and guide us into all truth, that when we study the scriptures to show ours approved of God, someone who does not need to be ashamed, because we are able to rightly divide the Word of truth.
