IMPACT FAMILY CHURCH, INC., HIGH SPRINGS

In 1986, during a time of prayer and fasting, the Lord spoke very clearly to Pastor Anderson from the 26th chapter of the Book of Acts, verses 16 through 18, re-affirming and strengthening the vision of his heart. As these verses of scripture burned into his consciousness, he realized that God was not only speaking to him personally, but that He was revealing His plan and purpose for the local church body as well. Acts 26:16-18 is the call of God upon Impact Family Church. All ministry – every program and activity of the church is directed toward fulfilling this purpose. Based on Acts 26:16-18 the mission of Impact Family Church is to: * Bring the Good News of reconciliation with God – of the restoration to favor with God through the remission of sins, by the blood of Christ. – Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost (Rom. 5:12; 3:23). Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained (Titus 3:5). The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for justification and salvation (I Peter 1:18-19; Rom. 4:25). – Without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6). The redemptive work of Christ provides not only salvation for the believer, but healing and prosperity as well (Isa. 53:4-6; Matt. 8:16-17). We are redeemed from the curse of the law which is poverty, sickness and spiritual death (Gal. 3:13). Our lives will be prosperous and healthy if we will walk in the light of this redemption with faith in God’s Word (III John 2). – The true Church is composed of all those who are born again. Through this new birth we are united together in the body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church (I Cor. 12:12-13, 27; Eph. 1:22-23). Every local church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs (I Cor. 12:28). Rev. and Mrs. Edwin Anderson are native Floridians, having been born and raised in Jacksonville and Newberry. They were married in 1970 and have two sons, four grandsons and one granddaughter. Together they served as District Directors of RHEMA Ministerial Association International, the licensing and ordaining arm of Kenneth Hagin Ministries, from 1989 to 1994, and as Regional Directors from 1994 to 2004.
