IMMIGRANT ARCHIVE PROJECT, INC.
KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA

The Immigrant Archive Project (IAP), Inc., was set up in 2008 by Tony Hernandez and Gustavo Pombo, both hailing from Key Biscayne, Florida. As a self-funded nonprofit with a 501(c)(3) designation, IAP is on a mission to gather, save, and showcase the personal stories of immigrants throughout the United States. By putting these individual and collective experiences at the forefront, they aim to highlight how vital immigrants are to American society, connecting people through shared human values. Over the years, IAP has blossomed into a national cause, capturing life stories from America's multicultural immigrant population using visual history testimonies. These narratives illuminate the struggles, dreams, and successes of immigrants, offering rich educational content for future generations. With over 1,000 documented stories that feature individuals from various countries who have chosen American citizenship, whether they are men, women, or children, IAP provides insightful glimpses into immigrant life. In response to the socio-political environment at the time, after gaining federal non-profit status in March 2017, IAP expanded its efforts to reach a broader audience. This included leveraging social media, television, and radio as key outreach platforms-an endeavour driven by their commitment to showcasing the important contributions of immigrants. Both co-founders bring extensive experience from their backgrounds as television broadcasters. Tony Hernandez holds dual roles as CEO and President at both IAP and Latino Broadcasting Company (LBC), a prominent provider of multicultural media content distributed on over 200 radio stations and Univision network television. Alongside him, Gustavo Pombo contributes his expertise as Executive Vice President and COO at LBC. His three-decade-long career in Spanish language media production and past entrepreneurial achievements make him well-equipped to manage such diverse media projects. Those interested in adding their voice to the IAP's valuable archive can visit [immigrantarchiveproject.com](http://immigrantarchiveproject.com) for more information or to contribute their stories. As they continue accepting donations, this is an opportunity to support a cause that preserves pivotal narratives from around the globe.
