Work at iMethods Mission Our mission is to match skilled professionals with the needs of our clients, creating value for their businesses and providing meaningful work and professional development for those we recruit. At iMethods, we don’t just talk about our core values – we actually put them into action. Our core values are present on our walls, printed on our marketing materials and routinely discussed in our day-to-day interactions. We acknowledge employees weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly for actions that are aligned with our 6 core values. – we follow through for our clients, candidates and company From day one, giving back to the community has been a huge focus. iMethods supports many local charities in Jacksonville including Wolfson Children’s Hospital, the Boselli Foundation, the Malivai Washington Youth Foundation, the Sulzbacher Center, Make a Wish Foundation, Heart for the Homeless and the MS Society. In 2004, Chad Perce and Clint Drawdy co-founded a company called Medical Methods. Nestled in a small (often flood-prone) office near downtown Jacksonville, FL, the business was built with an aim to create a company where people could fulfill their faith in the marketplace and create meaningful work. This desire for creating meaningful work is rooted in scripture - Colossians 3:23 - "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for man." They wanted to create a working environment where honesty and caring for people was rewarded as much as hard work. One of the main goals for starting the company was to have a positive impact on the community – internally and externally. Chad and Clint wanted to create real opportunities for employees to fulfill their desire to make an impact on peoples’ lives. In 2006, Medical Methods received its first recognition as a Best Place to Work by the Jacksonville Business Journal. The iMethods brand was formed in 2007 after numerous clients requested services for IT recruiting and staffing. This was a wonderful opportunity for the co-founders to build the business while also reconnecting with old friends and colleagues in the IT world. In 2008, after three floods and the hiring of some great new employees, it was time move into a bigger space on the Southside of Jacksonville. Building on the momentum of the new iMethods brand, the company was named to the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing small companies in the United States and ranked #6 on Jacksonville Business Journal’s Fast 50 List. In 2009, iMethods continued to gain momentum and was named to the Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest growing companies in the United States for the second straight year. 2009 was also the year iMethods picked up its first regional award as one of Florida Trend’s Best Companies to Work for in Florida. Staying true to the desire to serve the community, the company was listed as one of Jacksonville’s Companies that care by Jacksonville magazine. With a third straight year of recognition on the Inc. 500/5000 list, iMethods also picked up its second award, and third overall best place to work award, as one of Florida Trend’s Best Companies to Work For in Florida in 2010. In the fall of 2010, the Medical Methods portion of the business was sold to focus attention solely on building the iMethods brand. Between 2011 and 2012, iMethods accumulated four more awards as a great place to work. Following the success and momentum gained in recent years, the company outgrew its second office space. With tireless efforts, iMethods moved into a customized space in 2012 that would leave room to grow. The new office is designed as an open concept, complete with a one-of-a-kind tour where guests receive a personalized passport that has room for stamps for each of 6 unique tour stops. The tour has turned into a great marketing opportunity with nearly 2,000 guests receiving a passport in the first three years. 2013 was a banner year for iMethods. This year of record growth lead to the company’s sixth Inc. 500/5000 award as well as two more best place to work awards. Following the success generated leading into this year, the iMethods family continued to grow – particularly with the addition of healthcare consulting solutions. Over the next two years, iMethods received 4 more best place to work awards for a current total of 13 awards in its 12 year history. As the business continues to grow nationally in the healthcare consulting and IT staffing arena, the focus on building intentional relationships and creating meaningful work remains at the forefront.
