After studying business and marketing at Boston University, I got married, had children and became a stay at home Mom! That definitely counts for experience. Managing a home, a hockey player and a daughter with a busy sports and social life creates great organizational skills. I dabbled in part-time work for Revlon and Clinique. What girl doesn't love a lipstick? I loved the business of the cosmetic industry but not the politics of retail. I learned very quickly that if I went back into the workforce, it would be for myself (THE BOSS).  What to do? I have always been great at making connections and putting the right people together, sharing tips and doing it in a social environment. How does this translate into business? I was exposed to a few different business ventures and found an interest in more than one and Ideal Connections was born. I love having the option of pursuing several interests but it all seems to fit together. I learned that I am able to work with the entrepreneur and small business owner to formulate how their brand should look and be marketed. Hear this. Everyone is NOT your potential customer.  All businesses must continue to expand their network of customers to remain a leader.
