With a background in designing circuit boards, FPGAs (high speed chips), and the foundational infrastructure that built the cloud, Paul and Peter bring deep industry expertise that allows iboss to innovate and understand networking at the most fundamental levels. Their goal was to leverage this expertise to build a world-class technology company that redefined the way cybersecurity was delivered and managed. Driven by their vision and passion, they bootstrapped the company and focused on building out robust product capabilities. iboss amassed scores of patents and grew organically over the next decade. Back then, iboss predicted the exponential increase in bandwidth that is evident today, based on the rapidly growing popularity of mobile devices and cloud applications. Paul Martini is the CEO, co-founder and chief architect of iboss, where he pioneered the award-winning iboss Distributed Gateway Platform. Prior to founding iboss, Paul developed a wide-variety of complex security and technology solutions for clients such as Phogenix, the U.S. Navy, and Hewlett Packard. He was also a key contributor at Copper Mountain Networks working on designing and implementing FPGAs and broadband network infrastructure used by Telcos to build the cloud. His work at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) involved building distributed real-time systems for companies such as Rolls Royce. Copper Mountain and SAIC both launched successful IPOs. Paul has been recognized for his leadership and innovation, receiving the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year award and being named one of Goldman Sachs’ 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs. He holds a Computer Science Degree from the University of California, and has had his work published in many scientific journals, including the Journal of Foundations in Computer Science and the Journal of Analytical Biochemistry. As president and co-founder of iboss, Peter Martini has played a major role in developing iboss’ innovative technology, and has helped shepherd iboss’ phenomenal growth, since its founding. He has been awarded dozens of patents focused on network and mobile security, and with his brother, has been recognized by the industry with several prestigious awards, including, Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and one of Goldman Sachs 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs. More recently, iboss was ranked number three for security companies in the Deloitte Fast 500. Christian G. Kasper is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of iboss.  Prior to iboss, Chris served as President and CEO of Harvest Power Inc., an organics sustainability company named five times to the Global Cleantech 100 and one of Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative Companies in the World.  Earlier in his career Chris served in executive leadership positions of several companies, including The Princeton Review, Inc., a global education and test preparation company, and Lifetime Brands, Inc., a consumer products company whose brands include KitchenAid and Cuisinart.  He has worked in the portfolio companies of some of the world’s leading private equity and venture capital firms, including Bain Capital and Thomas H. Lee Partners.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Cookware Group S.A.S., a consumer products business based in Paris, France conducting business under the Pyrex brand. He has served on the faculty at Harvard Business School as a Dean’s Research Fellow in the Technology and Operations Management department.  Chris is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. Chris Park brings more than 13 years of technology experience in corporate network security to his position as CTIO, where he is responsible for creating and driving the company’s IT strategy. As the resident expert in all aspects of iboss solutions and infrastructure, he is responsible for iboss’ entire IT operation, including network and system engineering, front-end development, data center operations, and customer service and support. Prior to his CTIO position, Chris served in a variety of product management and network architect roles, working with public and private companies to troubleshoot and support their network security infrastructures. As a proven IT leader, Chris is dedicated to helping drive the company’s IT operations with a focus on building and supporting global IT strategies that ensure future growth.
