CEO and member of the iBasis Board of Directors Feddo Hazewindus brings to iBasis a wealth of relevant entrepreneurial and leadership experience in wholesale telecommunications, cyber security and business intelligence. He started and managed KPN INS, Inc., KPN’s wholesale telecom entity based in New York, and was instrumental in the 2007 transaction between iBasis and KPN that ultimately lead to iBasis becoming a KPN company. Since joining KPN in 1991, Feddo has also led a start-up company in multi-media and successfully directed several complex, strategic programs that spanned the entire KPN Group. Jörg de Graaf is responsible for helping to shape and drive the company’s business strategy and overseeing the financial management of the company. Before joining iBasis, Jörg was interim CFO at KPN Corporate Market, where he directed the transition of the former KPN subsidiary Getronics into the Corporate Market business and subsequently the creation of KPN’s IT Solutions division. During his nearly 10 years with KPN, Jörg has held financial leadership positions of increasing responsibility and scope, and gained valuable experience in the mobile, IT and wholesale business in addition to leading corporate restructurings. Jörg holds a degree in international management from Maastricht University and a degree in Marketing from TIASNimbas Business School. In 2016 Jörg also successfully completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP190) at Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As Chief Technology Officer, Ajay Joseph is responsible for the technical strategy and engineering of the iBasis global network and underlying systems. His leadership over more than a decade has been instrumental in iBasis’ growth from a start-up to one of the largest international carriers in the world. Ajay is also responsible for driving innovation within iBasis and is a member of parent-company KPN’s innovation council. In this capacity, Ajay and his team focus on leveraging the company’s unsurpassed expertise in IP technologies and real-time communications to develop new solutions and services for fixed and mobile operators, and other service providers. Prior to joining iBasis, Ajay was manager and architect of the IP Telecom division at GTE Internetworking responsible for new VoIP-based services. He also held senior level engineering and design positions at DeskNet Systems and NYNEX Science & Technology. Ajay is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School. He holds Professional Engineering and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University. Brad Guth leads the operational activities for the iBasis international voice and mobile data services businesses. He oversees a global team responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience while extending iBasis capabilities to support innovation within an evolving service portfolio. A versatile leader, since 2001 Brad has helped iBasis grow while taking on a wide range of strategic, commercial and operational roles. His teams have harnessed analytics and algorithms to strengthen financial operations, optimize pricing, and enhance service monitoring. Prior to joining iBasis, Brad was a strategy consultant for several years, where he assisted clients in crafting growth strategies and pursuing business relationships and financial transactions in the communications and energy businesses. He was most recently a Principal with Oliver Wyman (formerly Mercer Management Consulting), and also held roles with Gemini Consulting and Strategic Compensation Associates. He was also a Vice President with Houston Street Exchange, an electronic wholesale energy marketplace. Brad holds a degree in economics from Harvard College and an MBA in Financial Management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
