I Know Science Toy Store & STEM Center I Know Science Toy Store & STEM Center Mara-Joanne is a current student at Barry University, where she already completed her dance degree and is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Health Science. Throughout the course of her college career she has a very active role on campus and throughout the community. She is a senator for the Student Government Association, board member of the Black Student Union, summer school elementary reading and math teacher, dance teacher for summer camps, provides dance therapy to the elderly at an elderly day care center, and engage in different mission trips in Haiti. For high school, Mara-Joanne attended the Marine and Oceanographic Academy, that is where her love for science flourished. She spent hours working on different science projects and research studies. She worked on various projects in the surrounding environment and at the ocean with her classmates. She helped with cleaning up the beaches to make sure the marine life had a better and safe environment. Mara-Joanne hopes to share her love and passion of science with others. Helping others discover the wonders and magic behind science. And uncovering the mysteries that science can unlock. "I would love to use my nursing skills and training to serve and provide cure to the less-fortunate people in the Third World Countries, especially in Haiti or any country in Western Africa. My philosophy is that I learn in order to give and serve, even sacrificially. It is my hope and dreams to give a helping hand to those with no hope and to help heal those with inadequate medical assistance and resources, and to passionately love and serve the sick.”  To start a MISSIONARY MEDICAL ORG Joshua has prior experience with working with kids. He has led the robotics summer camp and basketball summer camp at his school. He is ecstatic to join our team at I Know Science and can’t wait to teach the kids what he knows. He believes that with positivity anything is achievable. We all have a platform regardless of size,yet what we choose to do with that platform is entirely up to us. I began building mine early on. After grad school and through my work experience I gained the skills I needed to break away and start my own business. With a great sense of perseverance and clarity of goals, I decided my platform would be used to develop an innovative business deliberately challenging the direction of progress and purpose. Today, my drive intensifies seeing the impact our business is making in the lives we are fortunate to reach.
