DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA

HYDRO-STAT, INC., DEERFIELD BEACH

Hydro-Stat Began in 1978 as the brainchild of John F. Scott popularly known as Scotty, to fulfill the needs of the fire department where he worked in Pompano Beach Florida. This was before the creation of the Re-tester  Identification  Number (RIN) program put in place by DOT in the early 1980's. When the RIN program began Hydro-Stat was issued the first RIN number in Florida and the number A239 replaced our symbol, a circle with an H inside, as the official mark of quality service. We have many cylinders coming in every year that still bear our original symbol because our original customers still trust us to keep their workplace safety foremost. That first year in business Hydro-Stat tested 350 cylinders! Today upwards of 12,000 cylinders a year come through our doors! From paintball to industrial, to medical, aviation and diving thousands trust their safety to us. Rick and Barbara Nickels became partners in Hydro-Stat and Deerfield Beach Fire Equipment in November of 1996 and purchased the business from Scotty in 1998. Since that time we have grown the business to accommodate the growing needs of our customers by providing the products and services that support the needs of our community and state. We now sell and service the many products you will find on these pages, and are able to accommodate many needs not available anywhere else in the state. We do volumetric expansion testing of all cylinders to 22" in diameter and 72' in length to pressures up to 10,000 psi. We test and certify MC331 tank trucks that carry bulk CO2, we are available for on-site proof pressure testing of high volume, low pressure air storage tanks, such as air compressor tanks and pipelines when required for workplace safety. and see if we can help you out!
