About Huss Drilling of Florida Huss Drilling Inc. was incorporated in 1990 by Ben Huss with the mission in mind to provide the industry with high quality environmental, geotechnical and exploration drilling services at competitive rates. Huss Drilling operates ten drilling rigs spread among two offices with the main office located in Dade City, Florida and a branch office Bonifay, Florida. Many of Huss Drilling�s 25 employees have been with the company for over ten years. The staff has the experience necessary to complete projects in the difficult Karst geologic formations encountered in the southeast. Mission Statement The mission of Huss Drilling Inc. is to provide high quality environmental, geotechnical and exploration drilling services with experienced dedicated professionals operating modern well maintained equipment. Huss Drilling, experts in florida drilling services, was formed in 1990 with the mission to provide geologist, engineers and environmental scientist quality Florida drilling services, including environmental drilling, geotechnical drilling and exploration drilling. This mission is carried out daily by the experienced OSHA trained staff, modern equipment and dedication to quality. Our Florida environmental drilling services are completed with rigs capable of turning hollow stem augers up to sixteen inches in diameter, mud rotary capabilities to twenty-four inches in diameter, sonic drilling capabilities, and operated by OSHA trained crews. The geotechnical drilling services provided by Huss Drilling are accomplished by a diverse group of equipment including all terrain drilling rigs, tri-pod rigs and barge rigs. The Florida exploration drilling operations personnel have extensive experience dealing with the Karst geologic formations in Florida and keep the tooling necessary to complete projects on time, under budget and with a high percentage of core recovery. Huss Drilling maintains three offices in Florida and provides environmental, geotechnical and exploratory drilling services in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama and has completed projects in the Bahamas, South Carolina and Mississippi.
