Hurd Construction, LLC Hurd Construction, LLC is the melding of Scott Hurd’s skills, knowledge, and passions. Beginning with building elaborate childhood forts in McCall, then moving on to Boeing 747 airplanes and his own remodeled homes, Scott has been working with his hands to design and create throughout his life. Drawing on twenty-one years of aviation industry experience, he applies solid project management, creative trouble-shooting diagnosis and resolution, and precise custom work to every job he takes on. As a licensed A&P mechanic, production supervisor and manufacturing engineer, Scott worked on some of the most complex structures, including their hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic systems. Looking to switch gears and get back outside, Scott spent the next seven years as a landscape manager for a busy Eagle-based full service landscaping company. In addition to getting the crews organized and on projects daily, Scott honed his skills in designing and building water features, patios, and retaining walls. Taking stock of all that he can do and is passionate about, Scott decided to strike out on his own and bring together his outdoor and indoor expertise into one business.
