I'm so happy to have found Hub 925! After working from home for years, it is wonderful to have a local co-working space where I can interact with other business professionals, yet still be able to focus on what I need to accomplish. (And Piper & Cathy are great!) Hub925 was amazing and the staff make the whole process a pleasure..I recommend Hub925 for any event.. thank you Hub925 for making my daughters baby shower a great celebration Great experience! This was the first seminar held at the Hub 925 location. Cathy and Piper were phenomenal. Unfamiliar with the clean-up protocol, we made the mistake of leaving the trash in the bins after failing to realize we were responsible for doing so (our mistake, so sorry!). Piper was so kind and hospitable, telling us she would take it out in the morning after my assistant frantically texted her inquiring about it. It is superior service like this that makes us look so fondly upon the simple kindness of others. We will certainly use the space again (and remember to ask where the disposals are) and encourage others to reach out to Cathy/Piper with any questions. Keep up the great work, ladies! Owners Piper Hood and Cathy Cavins want to share their “crazy idea” – Hub 925 – with you! Cathy and Piper were friends, exercise buddies and fellow entrepreneurs: Cathy owned a general contracting company, and Piper, a marketing company. They were collaborating on a business pursuit together in late 2014, working between each other’s houses, Starbucks, Panera and Barnes & Nobles, but found these environments unproductive. So, they searched for affordable, inspiring, collaborative office and meeting space nearby, but found none. Seeing need, Cathy emailed Piper suggesting they embark on a “crazy idea” together to open a shared workspace (coworking) and meeting venue in their community, Dr. Phillips, in Orlando. Thus, Hub 925 was launched in 2015 by two, aspiring female entrepreneurs desiring to meet and share affordable workspace with other local entrepreneurs in a hip, urban-loft styled space. Hub 925 members and guests soon began requesting Hub 925 for private parties and corporate events. Since Piper can’t resist a good party, and Cathy promotes work-life balance, they advanced Hub 925 into events, and in July 2017, expanded the venue to include private offices and wedding ceremonies and receptions.
