Hovis Custom Builders, Inc. is guided by years of experience, innovation, vision and passion in the custom building industry. Dan Hovis, president and founder established the business in 1993 and decided to build with steel framing thus eliminating termite infestations. The company grew and research told him to incorporate energy efficiency into all our homes and that's the time ICF Block became the outside wall structure and steel framing was used for the interior. The success continued and today we have built over 100 custom homes and Dan currently holds the position as Vice Chairman of the E-Council of Northeast Florida Builders Association and is recognized by JEA and NEFBA as the leader in the Green building movement. He not only has a state of Florida contractor's license but continues to keep his CPA & Brokers' license current.
