Process Systems Inc., a national leader for over 25 years in design and installation of automated systems for the plastics industry, merged in April of 2016 with Horizon Systems, Inc., a 30 plus year old engineering and manufacturing company that designs innovative material handling and automated transfer solutions for food, pet food, plastics and chemical manufacturers. After getting his start in the mechanical and industrial engineering industry more than 35 years ago, Wes became President of HorizonPSI. He came to us in 2000 after a leadership role with the largest North American pneumatic conveying and air filtrations systems provider. His leadership and knowledge in bulk material handling, packaging, milling and equipment manufacturing have helped HorizonPSI increase revenue by seven-fold and positioned the company at the forefront of several industries. Wes earned his degrees in Business Administration and Milling Science from Kansas State University with a MBA from Rockhurst University. With more than 40 years of experience in the plastics and chemical industries, Pete’s expertise includes PVC compounding, plastics, pipe, molding compounds and building products compounds. In 1994, Pete became President of Process Systems Inc., a leader in automated blending systems for the plastics industry. In April 2016, Process Systems Inc. merged with Horizon Systems, Inc., becoming HorizonPSI. As Managing Partner of HorizonPSI, Pete will further his relationships in the PVC industry by continuing to lead various sales efforts as well as managing the day-to-day operations of our turnkey and installation services. Pete graduated with a BS in Chemistry from Wake Forest University. Doug spent more than 20 years in the oil and gas industry serving various roles in accounting and administration, both domestically and internationally. In 1997, he became Vice President and Partner of Process Systems Inc., a leader in automated blending systems for the plastics industry. In April 2016, Process Systems Inc. merged with Horizon Systems, Inc., becoming HorizonPSI. In his role as CFO, Doug will oversee the overall management and leadership of the financial activities for HorizonPSI.
