Growing up country in rural NW Florida, Rev. John D. Selvage, Jr was born on Oct 14, 1958, and raised in the small town of Crestview. John was saved in 1968 at the age of 10, made a public profession of faith in 1975 at Garden City Baptist Mission, and was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Crestview at the age of 17.
LAUNCHING HONORED1 MINISTRIES
After prayerfully seeking God’s will and godly counsel, Rev. John D. Selvage, Jr. stepped out in faith to launch HONORED1, INC. as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry in July 2015. With this ministry limited to one chapter in an adult’s life, all clients who reach out to HONORED1 in their time of crisis or spiritual need will be encouraged to connect with a local church family and pastoral staff as God so leads.
As God grows and increases our HONORED1 MINISTRIES staffing and funding in the coming years and decades, it’s the hope and prayer of Pastor John, the Board of Directors, the ministry staff and volunteers that God will expand this new ministry far beyond the Space Coast of Florida … touching hearts and impacting lives … ONE ADULT and ONE FAMILY at a time!

Carole Campbell serves as the CFO, Treasurer, and Administrator for HONORED1. As a 1996 graduate of Rollins College with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting with Honors and a Business Administration Minor, Carole is CPA qualified. As CFO, Carole is uncompromising in her integrity and professional in her expertise. As TREASURER and ADMINISTRATOR, Carole brings tremendous experience and competence to all she does.

Knowing Fitzroy and Carole’s heart and passion for the Lord as he did, in July 2015, Carole was contacted by Rev. John D. Selvage, Jr. requesting that she pray about joining him in launching HONORED1 MINISTRIES by serving as the CFO, Treasurer, and Administrator. After prayerfully seeking God’s will, on Thurs, July 23, 2015, Carole emailed Rev. John D. Selvage, Jr., saying, “I am very excited to join you in this ministry and feel like this is what God has set aside for me.”
In her LEADERSHIP and Ministry at HONORED1 MINISTRIES, Carole brings a prayer warrior’s spirit and a steadfast faithfulness to all that she does.

Who We Are
If you do not have a pastor or a church family in your time of crisis or spiritual need, HONORED1 MINISTRIES welcomes the opportunity to step into that gap ministering God’s grace, mercy, support, and comfort to you and your family. HONORED1, INC. is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Biblical based Christian Religious Organization. We are a community and home based pastoral care ministry.
Our Pastoral Staff, Support Staff, and Volunteers welcomes the opportunity to partner with you, your family, friends, employer, local ministries, area churches, rehab and assisted living facilities, hospitals, hospice, jails, prisons, funeral homes, local businesses, and social agencies to minister to your spiritual and pastoral care needs as God so leads.
As God so leads, our ministry will be limited to one chapter in the lives of the adults who reach out to us for help. Although HONORED1 offers many of the same ministries that a church does, we are not a church. We do not have members, we serve clients. We encourage all of our clients to connect with a local church family and pastoral staff in their community. HONORED1 ministries does not provide financial, food, housing, or clothing assistance.
