HomeSights Consulting, Inc. I moved to Sarasota with my family in 1982. My last accomplishment in Canada had been to provide consulting services for the establishment of the first Community Health Centers (CLSCs) in Montreal and its suburbs. After working as a registered nurse in one of the local hospitals for a year to familiarize myself with the medical community, I returned to home care. For the next 15 years, I was employed by licensed and/or Medicare certified home care agencies, occupying positions at different levels. Initially, I made thousands of home care visits, then pursued business development achieving proven results locally as well as nationwide, and was promoted to Regional Director. Finally, I started a Medicare certified Home Care agency and as the Administrator transitioned successfully from fee-for-service to prospective payment. During my five years tenure the agency received only one minor survey deficiency and was rated as a I had wanted to start my own business ever since I was twenty years old. In the fall of 2000, I made the challenging decision to overcome my fear and to reach for my dream. Unlike some who make a dramatic change in their career at this time of their life, I did not want to waste my expertise nor years of sustained efforts to stay abreast of the industry laws, regulations and trends. I founded HomeSights Consulting Inc., a consulting firm fully dedicated to all aspects of the home care industries. The firm has served more than 75 clients in its first ten years, most of them from word of mouth recommendations. It has been a privilege to serve these wonderful entrepreneurs eager to succeed in their business while providing optimal care to their clients. The firm has stayed focused on its Mission to empower licensed and Medicare certified agencies by resolving challenges through the development and implementation of key management processes.
