Home Tech Inspectors was founded by Michael Frackman with the vision of creating a pre-sale inspection, focused solely on technology systems. As a Regional Sales Manager for an international tech manufacturer, Michael recognized a trend that became increasingly common. The company was contacted by recent home buyers, each with a similar story: they moved in, experienced technology issues, brought in an electronics contractor and received significant repair bills. As the calls increased, Michael took action and met with home owners to investigate. The meetings revealed that each buyer had a general home inspection; however, the technology systems were never examined. Upon further research, Michael found home inspections do not cover technology systems. Additionally, there wasn’t a viable option for buyers to protect themselves with an inspection of the property’s technology. Armed with this information, Michael founded Home Tech Inspectors.
