Welcome to Holladay Aviation! We are a full service flight school located at Jacksonville Executive / Craig Airport (CRG) in Jacksonville, Florida. With more than 14,000 combined hours flying and teaching in a wide variety of airplanes from ultralights to high-performance business aircraft, we have the experience and knowledge to help you achieve your aviation goals. With our extensive teaching experience comes efficiency. We have no desire to waste your time or your money. Our primary goal is the same as yours: To help you earn your certificate or rating as safely and inexpensively as possible. is a flight instructor (CFII) who completed his private pilot training with Holladay Aviation in 2015. He has experience flying a wide variety of single engine airplanes including the Cessna 150, 152, 172, and 182, as well as some Piper and Beechcraft models. When he’s not at the airport, Andrew is working toward completing his bachelor’s degree in business and mathematics, and enjoys playing the piano. He dreams of one day becoming an astronaut and traveling into space. joins the Holladay Aviation family with nearly 30 years of experience as a flight instructor teaching primary, tailwheel and basic aerobatics. He previously served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot. David loves teaching and sharing his vast experience with others. To give you an example, the minimum number of hours required to complete Private pilot training is 40, but the national average is closer to twice this number. There are several reasons for this, but the primary reason is inefficient instruction. You pay by the hour in this business, so twice the hours means twice the cost! With a good instructor, a regular training schedule, and diligence on your part, there’s no reason why you should not expect to complete your training in about 50 hours.
