David Holden has over 40 years of experience working as a Pest Control Advisor and Agricultural Production Consultant who has worked with many crops and has specialty experience working with California avocados, berries, citrus, vegetables, and wine grapes. More recently, David has traveled extensively as well, consulting in production agriculture throughout the Midwest, the South, and Australia. David has completed or is currently completing production related field research for a variety of manufacturers of agricultural nutrient and pest management products (Acadian, Amvac, Arysta Life Sciences, Bayer, Chemtura, DOW, DuPont, Floratine Bioscience, Global Organics, Lignotech, Miller Chemical, Nichino, Simplot, Syngenta, TKI, Valent, and more) both in the traditional and organic farming areas. In addition to the above named companies, he has also worked with the California Avocado Commission, California Celery Commission, California Pepper Commission and the University of California. He annually completes over 70 various projects divided 50/50 between nutrient management and pest management. In addition, David has had experience with over 100 various crops, and he is currently consulting on approximately 10,000 acres for growers of avocados, berries (strawberries and blueberries), citrus, field grown vegetables (celery, lettuce, cole crops, etc), and wine grapes. David has over 35 years of experience as an agronomist and Pest Control Advisor (PCA) and has worked with over 100 crops. He conducts many field research projects every year for a variety of agricultural manufacturers, and has completed over 1000 of these projects to date. He also consults extensively with growers on pest and nutrient management issues to increase their production yields. David is an experienced public speaker, has served on several ag related boards, worked with numerous commissions, and has traveled throughout the country and abroad to present his research. AG RX uses and has used David Holden as their contracted research and advisor agronomist for many years. He and his associates are vital to the growth of AG RX's business.
