Hingle Erickson Construction was founded by its two owners Larry Hingle and Jon Erickson in 2008. Larry Hingle has been a lifetime Central Florida resident. Born in Daytona Beach, he graduated from Stetson University with a degree in Business. Larry was drafted by the California Angels as the 7th draft pick in 1992 and also played with the Houston Astros. “The most important thing I learned while playing baseball was teamwork and planning. As in construction, you must have a solid plan and leadership to execute the plan.” After retiring from baseball in 1997, Mr. Hingle became a sales rep for Florida Rock Industries, a concrete, block and steel provider. In 2001 he started Express Concrete, which grew to generate over a million dollars in sales in 2005. During this time, Larry obtained his general contractors license which enabled him to build multiple houses and townhomes. Wanting to “build” his own contracting company, Larry teamed up with Jon Erickson to form Hingle Erickson Construction. “It’s a perfect partnership.” Jon shares the same philosophies; honesty, attention to detail, and total customer satisfaction with no exceptions….period!
