Sam Hines has been involved in human resources and executive search for 30+ years, with a focus on leadership searches. His search clients over the past few years have included private industry and the public sector. He has successfully completed searches for CEO’s, Senior Vice Presidents, Managing Directors, Directors and other senior leadership positions. His most recent searches included the CEO of a major nonprofit in South Florida, Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer for a major Fortune 250 company, 4 Vice Presidents for a major financial services institution, and many others. Other experience includes Director of Human Resources for the City of Miramar, 10 years with Ryder System in executive positions including Director of Human Resources for the Logistics Division, Director of Staffing for the Corporation and Director of Supplier Diversity. Additionally, he was Vice President of Executive & Professional Talent Acquisition for The First National Bank of Chicago, the country’s 5th largest commercial bank, for 12 years. Mr. Hines received his degree from Jackson State University with advanced studies at Boston University in Human Resources. He is Chair of the Board of the Women’s Business Development Council of Florida, member of ICABA Advisory Board. Most recently, he was named one of South Florida’s most powerful and influential Black Professionals & Advisory Board Member of the Year by ICABA.
