Heroes Lost At Home (HLAH) was established to benefit the needs of Veterans and Caregivers of any era and has placed an emphasis on our female heroes, to improve quality of life. HLAH seeks to nurture and encourage ill and injured Veterans in their transition to "New Normal" ways of living through inner core building skills and guidance through Art Rejuvenation Programs, Outdoor Quest (activities) Programs and Vet2Vet Table-Talk sessions. Some of the methods have been proven to increase brain function and healing levels of certain vitamins. Although none being a cure, they can certainly be beneficial to an improved quality of life for the Veteran and perhaps family members as well. WHO WE ARE Deborah Miscia, Founder of Heroes Lost at Home, Inc (HLAH), a 501(c)3 non-profit veteran's organization and President and Founder of Purple Griffon, LLC, creating veteran components for corporations and businesses. Past Junior Vice Commander for DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Chapter 82. Married to a severely injured Army Veteran, who served for more than 10 years. Previously, the first female to own and operate a handicap specific construction company in New Jersey.
